The „Folkowisko” Association was established in the village of Gorajec in Roztocze Region, and its aim is to promote the culture of this region, which stems from the multicultural tradition of arts and crafts. Now The Association launched a program to support the victims of the war in Ukraine. The activities coordinated by them focus on five directions of aid (the action “To Ukraine by truck”, helping refugees in a tent town in Ukraine, humanitarian aid transports to Zbarazh, translation support, collection of help for people staying in the fighting zone) and are located both on the Polish and on the Ukrainian side of the border. The most important goal of humanitarian activities organized by the Association is to care for the life, health and dignity of all people fleeing the war. Help is provided by a team of volunteers who react quickly to the dynamic war situation.
